Hamburger Cookies

Hamburger Cookies

While browsing my Pubsub burger search, I came across this flickr image. As you can see, these are hamburger cookies and they look fantastic. The best part is they're made with Nilla Wafers, one of my favorite cookies. According to flickr user feralgoat they are made with "Nilla wafers, pepperment patties, and shredded coconut dyed green." She also suggests some potential additions.

You can get a lot fancier and add sesame seeds to the bun, and I bet you could make tomatoes out of cherry halves, cheese out of yellow fruit roll-ups, etc.

Sounds like a delicious dessert to me. Perfect for kids' birthday parties or any party for that matter. Nicely done, feralgoat.

My mom used to make these (not very often, since they're a huge pain in the butt). She'd also make two batches of frosting, red and yellow, and put those on top of the "patty". Which looked great and added to the uncontrollable sugar rush.

This brings back fond memories of when I was little and used to make cookies with my mother

these are amazing. all it needs is some bacon.

Ha ha! These are great!

Although I agree with shr... they definitely need bacon.
